Kenganverse Wiki

"The Tiger" is the nickname given by the current incarnation of The Connector Shen Wulong to his "other half". This "Tiger half" is actually a clone of the previous Shen Wulong and shares a body with his clone brother, who he in turn seems to refer to as "the Dragon". As such the Tiger is also known as "The Connector" ( (つな) がる (もの) , Tsunagaru-mono) and goes by the name "Shen Wulong" ( (シェン) (ウー) (ロン) , Shen Ūron) in his dealings with just about everyone else. That being said, the Tiger prefers to go by the nickname "Hushen" (虎神, literally "Tiger-God" in Chinese) to distinguish himself from the Dragon's personality when talking to the Dragon's friends.

Appearance[]

Currently, he's shares the same body as the Dragon Wulong. As such, he has the same appearance as him, with the difference being that when the Tiger is in control of the body, the lower pupil of the iris stands out from the upper one. As such the lower pupils of both eyes become more prominent and appear darker than the upper pupils when the Tiger is in control.

The Tiger wears a much fashionable attire than the Dragon. He dons a high ponytail, dark colored rounded shades, patterned polo, black shirt, belt, light colored pants, sandals and a classy watch

Personality[]

Upon surfacing, the Tiger began muttering incomprehensibly and began wandering like an amnesiac. This odd behavior is due to him having never awoken before and thus requiring time to get accustomed to speech and motor control.

The Tiger is considered by Xia Yan to be a more efficient and pragmatic leader than his other half, even preferring that The Tiger stay forever, since The Dragon was very relaxed with his actions. An example being that not long after taking over control, the Tiger immediately had the weapons of mass destruction held by the Death Dealers decommissioned.

Much like the Dragon half, the Tiger also enjoys fighting, especially against those who can match him. During his fight against Ohma and Ryuki, the Tiger showed excitement of fighting, taking joy in the exchange he had between the two, even when he takes damage. He's also modest, acknowledging that he's currently weaker than his other half, but did claim he would soon reach the Dragon's level.

The Tiger has different tastes than his Dragon half, who is more conservative, while he values wearing designer clothes and staying fashionable because, according to him, it allows him to blend in better with the crowd. The Tiger has fondness on watches. He believes they're handy and useful in telling time for meetups.

The Tiger has a habit of exhibiting doing seemingly a malevolent smile with soul staring eyes.

History[]

When the current Wulong was cloned from his predecessor, something went wrong during the process in that he became two clones in the same body, becoming something like a chimera. The dominant clone in control of the body is known as "The Dragon", while "The Tiger" remains dormant but is always watching. Additionally both of them share slightly different DNAs despite sharing the same body.

Though the two were content with their current situation, the Dragon still desired a "playmate", someone whom he could fight at his full power. This led the Worm in creating clones of the current Connector, and then attempt methods of memory transfer like the cyber brain before finally deciding on brain transplantation at the Dragon's whims. This resultant cloning process led to many failures who shared the combined DNA of both the Dragon and the Tiger, with the exception of one. All of these failures were known as the Consecutors with Shen Luohan being the first of them.

Eventually, the Worm managed to create two pure clones: Tokita Ohma is a genetic clone of The Tiger Wulong whereas Gaoh Ryuki is a clone of the Dragon Wulong.

Plot[]

Kengan Omega[]

The Tiger version of Wulong finally comes to the surface in Kengan Omega Chapter 314. This happens when the Dragon half of Wulong i.e. the one who was always in control of the body until that point ends up awakening the Tiger half while fighting Shen Luohan. From this point on the Tiger takes control of Shen Wulong's body while the Dragon version of Wulong goes dormant. He disappears for some time before answering Xia Yan's call. When Yan realizes that this is the Tiger and not the Dragon answering the phone, the Tiger orders Yan to do a favor for 'The Dragon'. The favor was the decommission of weapons of the Death Dealers.

After returning, the Tiger would have a meetup with Ohma, Ryuki, and Joji. He introduced himself to his fellow clones and expressed his interest in fighting them to test them. If they defeated him, he and his other half would abandon the idea of taking their bodies. In his fight against Ryuki, due to the fact that he had never been in control of his body, his dexterity was inferior to that of his other half, which allowed his clone to challenge him on equal terms, but still not surpass him.

Powers & Abilities[]

Though the full extent of the Tiger Wulong's power is theoretically supposed to be at the same level of his Dragon counterpart, it is revealed that upon awakening he was still far weaker than the Dragon. The Tiger remarks that despite having the same martial arts knowledge of the Dragon, he has to get used to controlling the body and lacks muscle control since the Dragon was the one in charge of the body the whole time. That being said, it can be assumed that the Tiger is still a very formidable fighter giving off a powerful aura. This is evident when he first awakened and turned his face towards the Other Tokita Niko. The Other Niko froze in terror, hinting at the Tiger's power and terrifying aura. Xia Yan, another formidable fighter, began to sweat when he started talking to the Tiger over the phone.

Despite being weaker than the Dragon, the Tiger was still able to fight against Gaoh Ryuki, a clone of the Dragon and a powerful fighter in his own right, and was seen fine afterwards, ready to take on Ohma right away. Ohma noted that at this time, he can go toe-to-toe against Hushen at this level and said that the Dragon is 'worlds' apart compared to the Tiger. The Tiger guaranteed Ohma that once he's used to controlling the body, he'll be as powerful as the Dragon.

Each generation of 'Wulong' has woven a tapestry of Martial Arts memories and it covers every technique from different times and places. The Tiger has access to these techniques in his memory bank. One of these techniques is very similar to the Swimming Swallow of the Niko Style where he is able to dislocate the joints of his arms to allow him to curve the trajectory of his attacks and thus deliver a series of unpredictable blows with varying trajectories. The Tiger has demonstrated Flashing Steel: Smash as well.
