History[]
Kim is a taekwondo practioner who moved to Osaka during elementary school because of his parents' job. Because of this, he speaks with a Kansai dialect.
Plot[]
He was one of the substitute fighters of Purgatory's team, in case anyone from their side decided to stop down from the tournament. He was set to replace Liu Dongcheng if need be, but was ultimately kept in the reserve.[3] Kim was later introduced as the Supernova with the best record.[4]
