Summary[]
Koga and Kaede make their way to their seats, with Koga insisting that he's fine. He looks over at the representatives of the Kengan Association, Tokita Ohma in particular, telling himself that he will make it to their spot, somehow.
Sayaka and Jerry Tyson announce that the rules will follow Purgatory, with an additional for this competition. Yamashita Kazuo tells the representatives that there is no set order, and that for three rounds, a fighter of the Kengan Association will go first. This alternates between Purgatory and the Kengan Association before the last representatives remain. As the manager, Kazuo also has the power to send out fighters himself at his own discretion. While the fighters discuss what happens when one side loses, as well as who gets to fight first (with Okubo in the background annoyed that no one's commenting on his outfit), a fight erupts with Raian antagonizing and Akoya, with Misasa aloofly trying to break it up.
Meanwhile, Togo Tomari asks how Muteba managed to find Julius, with Muteba responding that he had connections, knowing that Purgatory's rules would be too restrictive for himself. Muteba notes that Togo owes him wine and women, before Toyoda suddenly drops by to greet his former bodyguard, startling Togo. Muteba merely responds to Toyoda that he can do business with him again anytime, with Toyoda eagerly accepting to discuss it after the competition. A bewildered Togo asks why he's here instead of managing his fighters, with Toyoda responding that he's leaving it up to themselves. He can also see that Kazuo's struggling to rein in his fighters.
Kazuo realises what Gaolang had meant: not all of them synergize well in personality. They're more likely to cause infighting between themselves rather than prepare to fight Purgatory. Before Kazuo could do anything, Gaolang decides to go first himself, to draw everyone's attention from fighting amongst each other.
As Gaolang goes to the arena, Nicolas Le Banner, alongside fellow representatives Liu Dongcheng and Fei Wangfang, decide who gets to fight him. Dongcheng declines to go first due to his father's will, to Wangfang's incredulity. Yumigahama Hikaru tries to be the one to fight Gaolang in order to spite Kanoh Agito and Misasa, but is stopped by Carlos Medel. Yumigahama receives a bloody nose as payback for injuring Jose, as "El Dorado" steps up to match against a fellow boxer.
